OPENING HOURS DURING CHRISTMAS:
Shopping 2008:
Most shops have extended opening hours in December, and the last two weeks before Christmas most shops are even open on Sundays (2–6pm). The law allows the shops to stay open three Sundays before Christmas (2–8pm), but this will vary from shop to shop and from area to area in Oslo. The big shopping malls in the city centre, will most likely be open the last three Sundays.
Recommended opening hours for shops:
24.12: until 4 pm
25.–26.12: closed
27.12: optional
28.12: closed
29.–31.12: optional
01.01: closed
Tourist Information Centres 2008:
The Tourist Information Centre by the City Hall:
24.–28.12: closed
29.–30.12: 09.00–16.00

The Tourist Information by the Central Station:
24.12: 10.00–16.00

Attractions:
Most attractions have reduced opening hours during the Christmas holidays. 24.12-25.12 and 31.12-01.01 most of the attractions are closed.
