Bjørnholt farm is beautifully situated in the Nordmarka forest, right above Bjørnsjøen lake on the dirt road from Movann, Maridalen and Sognsvann. Bjørnsjøen is a canoeing paradise with several interesting islands, and the fishing is great.

The farm is about 150 years old and the owners' family has lived in the area since the 1600s. Already in 1919 there were tourist and catering establishments at Bjørnholt.

Simple accommodation is available for up to seven persons.  Lavvos between Bjørnholt and Bjørnsjøen can be rented in the summer and autumn, and include barbeques as well as reindeer hides to sleep on.
