The swimming pool re-opened on Sunday 1 July after being closed for repairs for some time. Norway's most popular public bath includes several pools and diving boards, both indoors and outdoors, as well as a waterslide.

Tøyenbadet is a short walk from Tøyen station where the subway arrives every few minutes from the city centre.

The indoor facilities include a Olympic-size pool (50 metres, 28 degrees Celsius), children's pool (13 metres, 32 degrees Celsius) and diving boards (1, 3 and 5 metres). The indoor pools are open all year round.

Outside Tøyenbadet offers a large pool (22 metres, 28 degrees), children's pool (11 metres, 28 degrees Celsius) and diving boards (1 and 3 metres). The outdoor pools opened on 18 May and are open until 19 August.
