Extra Metallica show 30 July

The 10,200 tickets for the band's 17 June show sold out in 15 minutes, but ticketless fans can try again when tickets for the extra concert in Oslo Spektrum go on sale on Monday, 17 November at 9 am.

A further introduction to Metallica should be unnecessary. The band filled Oslo Spektrum once in 1999 and twice in 2003, and in 2007 they played to 40,000 fans at Valle Hovin in Oslo.

Metallica released their latest album, "Death Magnetic" on 12 September in Norway, where it went straight to the top of the album charts and stayed there for weeks.

To mark the album's release, Metallica is going on the World Magnetic Tour '09. The setup at the concert will be "In the Round", which means that all tickets will have the same great view of the stage.

Ticket prices: NOK 650,- (standing room)/NOK 750,- (seats).

Tickets on sale from Monday, 17 November at:
www.billettservice.no or ph. 815 33 133 (Billettservice) / 815 11 211 (Oslo Spektrum's ticket office) or in person at Oslo Spektrum's ticket office.
