A walk along the river
Like many other Oslo people, i think a walk along the river Akerselva is the perfect thing to do on a nice day. to avoid the risk of over-exercising, i prefer walking downhill ;) I live next to the river so I walk down towards the centre. Along the way there are waterfalls, parks, old buildings, and if it's a Sunday: MANY other walkers! when you're almost in the centre you get to a big park-like area kalled Kuba. by then i think it's time for a café break: i like Pavilion (the little red house by the Kuba park) or there are many nice places in the street markveien at Grünerløkka (Bugges, Riverside, Blå and many more) - and maybe i go for a round of minigolf at the bottom of the street :)
