Hotel Continental

“The Hotel is a beautiful old classic hotel. The location of it is great. Walking distance to cafés, shopping malls, the Castle and the Parliament. The room was ok. Would have thought it would be in better condition though. Felt a bit like a spare room whilst renovating... The staff were nice and the service ok. Overall I would recommend the hotel. Have a pleasent stay! It's a beautiful city!!”

“Whiel the location of the hotel is perfect and the service of all sort was out standing and the restaurants are top I had a strange problem with the mechanical instalation in the bathroom The Toilet Papaer Holder was mounted so close to the toilet seat that it essentially poked me in the stomach and was making it impossible to seat straight and to use it appropriately. I am a big guy but this woudl have been uncomfortable for any person. There was no reason for that position. There was plenty of places it could have been moved to without problem A second problem was the safety bar in the tub. This bar that is supposed to help an elderly unstable on his / her feet into the tub (and is really needed with that deep tub here) was mounted on the back of the tub outside of reach. This should be mounted on the side wall providing support when a person is getting in and out of the tub. In its current position it is accessible only from inside the tub. A third minor issue is the the curtian bar is a old fashion straight bar. Hotel in this price range in the USA install the curved out bar which makes standing for a shower in the tub a much more pleasant experience.”
