Jean Michel Jarre to Oslo 13 May

The electronic music pioneer is famous for his spectacular live shows. Expect a harmony of synth, strings, keyboards, flute and laser harp on stage in Oslo Spektrum in May. Tickets went on sale on Thursday 4 December at 9 am.

The show is part of Jarre's upcoming World Arena and will be a fusion of analogue synthesizers, cutting-edge digital technology, huge HD video projectors, spectacular laser design and light choreography.

Jarre's big break came in 1977 with the relase of the critically acclaimed album "Oxygène", and the single "Oxygène Part IV" is considered one of the most famous pieces of electronic music in the world. His albums and singles have sold over 80 million copies worldwide.

In it not only his innovative music but Jarre's momentous outdoor shows with lights, laser and fireworks that have made him an international superstar. He has performed at the pyramids in Egypt and by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and in 1997 he set a world record by playing for an audience of 3,5 million at Moscow's 80th anniversary.
