Where can I swim?
There are 22 fresh water beaches and 13 salt water beaches. In addition you will find Tøyenbadet, Frognerbadet and other public swimming pools.
Temperatures
Where can you go skiing - cross-country and downhill? Cross-country: All of Nordmarka has excellent skiing conditions in the winter season. Good places to start could be Frognerseteren, Grefsen, Sognsvann.
Downhill slopes: Tryvann Winter Park, Grefsenkollen Skisenter, Varingskollen, Ingierkollen
You can rent skis at Tomm Murstad Skiservice AS at Voksenkollen station.
