Holmenkollen Visitor Center
Due to the renovation of Holmenkollen National Ski Arena for the 2011 FIS Nordic World Championships, the Ski Museum and Jump Tower will be closed to the public after 30 September 2008. The date for the opening of the new ski jump will probably be in early 2010.
During the renovation period, a visitor center in Kollenstua will be a place for individuals and groups to get information about the project. Visitors will also get a taste of the Ski Museum through temporary exhibitions, as well as an introduction to Holmenkollen's exciting history.
In addition to giving all the necessary information about the renovation through films and models, the center will also feature a souvenir shop and a café. The center will also have free restroom facilities and ample bus/car parking nearby.
