Huk Beach
Wile most people don’t come to Oslo for its beaches , their are a few of them in the Oslo fjord that are worth a visit, specially in summer.
One of the most popular ones is the Huk beach in Bygdøy, located on the end of the peninsula.
It’s a beach made out of rock formations so there is a lot of big rocks where you can sun bade, there is also areas with sand.
The other nice thing about it is that there is a large park before you get to the beach so in case you don’t want to deal with the hassles of sand everywhere you can lay in the grass or play some freebie badminton or volleyball.
With the long days in the Norwegian summer there is plenty of time under the sun you can easily go there from 6 to 8 or 9 and as long as the sun is shining, it’s warm.
To get there just take bus Nr 30 Direction Bygdøy and get of a the last stop , this is also a good idea if you been to the museums in Bygdøy and want to relax just get the buss to the beach.
