Easy to get to

Oslo is easily accessible. 32 airlines have direct flights to the Norwegian capital.

By air

32 airlines have daily non-stop flights from key cities in Europe like Amsterdam (1 hour 45 minutes), Frankfurt (1 hour 55 minutes), London (2 hours 15 minutes) and Paris (2 hours 15 minutes). There is a non-stop connection between Oslo and New York, Philadelphia, Bangkok, Dubai and  Doha. In additionn, Oslo may be reached from all continents via Copenhagen (55 minutes), with departures every hour.

Airports
The main airport, Oslo Airport Gardermoen, is located 55 kilometres north of the capital. Gardermoen serves over 100 domestic and international destinations. From the airport you can reach Oslo's city centre by express train (19 minutes), express bus, local train, hire a coach, car or a taxi.

There are also direct flights from dozens of European cities to Sandefjord Airport Torp (110 kilometres south west of Oslo) and Moss Airport Rygge (66 kilometres south east of Oslo). You can get to Oslo by bus or train from both airports.

Ferries

Four ferries arrive daily to Oslo from Kiel, Copenhagen and Frederikshavn. They have first-class meeting facilities and exciting incentive programmes.


Cruise boats
Oslo is also a popular cruise destination, especially in the summer season. All cruise boats dock at the quayside in the centre of Oslo with walking distance to many of the city's attractions, such as Akershus Fortress, the Opera House, the Nobel Peace Center and the Royal Palace. Buses and trains
All trains arrive at Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), while regional and international bus routes stop at Oslo Bus Terminal. The stations are conveniently located at the main public transportation junction in the city centre.

Local public transport
The public transport system is well developed: buses, trams, local trains, underground and ferries are all a part of the network. All public transport within Oslo is free of charge with the Oslo Pass.
 
Norway Convention Centre
Norway's largest exhibition and congress centre, Norway Convention Centre, is located just outside Oslo, only 11 minutes by train or 15 minutes by car from Oslo Central Station and 12 minutes by train from Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

 

“Everything” within walking distance

The centre of Oslo is small and compact; most meeting facilities, hotels, shopping and entertainment areas are within walking distance, making it easy to organise meetings here.
