Hip-hop supergroup N.E.R.D will perform at Sentrum Scene on 11 December, only four months after playing at the Øya Festival in Oslo. Tickets on sale from Monday 27 October at 9 am.
"The concert at Øya was one of the highlights of the festival season, and it is great to see that Norway is one of the countries in which N.E.R.D is most successful commercially," Atomic Agency's Peer Osmundsvaag said.
N.E.R.D consists of childhood friends Chad Hugo, Pharrell Williams and Shay Haley. The group's music is hard to categorise, but it can be described as a mix of rock, funk and hip-hop.
Hugo and Williams are even better known as the The Neptunes, one of the most successful production teams ever. They have produced hits for a who's who of American superstars, including Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Nelly, Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears, Usher, T.I., Ludacris, Gwen Stefani and many others.
N.E.R.D's third album, "Seeing Sounds", came out earlier this year to great reviews. The show at Sentrum Scene will include music from this album as well as hits like "She Wants To Move", "Lap Dance", "Provider", "Maybe" and "Everyone Nose".
