New Orleans Workshop Jazzclub
New Orleans Workshop Jazzclub is the only jazzclub in Oslo playing the traditional jazz as it was performed in New Orleans during the golden years of 1920/30: revival, swing, gospel, blues, ragtime, dixieland and New Orleans jazz. Norwegian and international bands will play the best traditional jazz music in town - live!
Every Thursday night, from 8 till 11 pm (except in the summer time), you may attend a jazz concert at the jazz club "Herr Nilsen", CJ Hambros plass.
You may also show up at the jazz café on Saturdays (also during the summer) from 1.30 till 4.30 pm. This jazz is being played at "Stortorvets Gjæstgiveri", Grensen 1, close to the cathedral. Free entrance.
