Norwegian Telecom Museum

The Norwegian Telecom Museum preserves items from, and imparts knowledge about, the history of telecommunications in Norway. Exhibitions, collections and historic buildings or installations "on site" can be found all over the country. The museum also conducts research in the history of telecommunications.

Discover how norsemen communicated with torches in the age of the Vikings and the development of the telegraph, telephone and broadcasting up until the present time's internet and picture phones.
Activities for the whole family: On week-ends you can meet actors or the popular robot Isak who talks to the children. There are many buttons to push which give sounds, light and images.
A new feature is our MP3 guiding which will make your journey through the history of telecommunications a special experience.
The Museum is housed inside The Museum of Science & Technology.
