Akershus is a diverse county for fishing enthusiasts. At the head of the Oslofjord there are many spots for fishing sea trout and sea bass in addition to the traditional saltwater species such as cod, pollock and mackerel. You are also able to fish for trout and char fishing in the lake.

Weather you want to go exclusive fly-fishing, drift-boat fishing, experience the opportunities together with a guide or just learn how to fish, in Trysil there are fishing activities for the whole family. Rod fishing is permitted all year round in the Trysil and Engeråa river as well as in the various lakes and tarns. It is prohibited to fish in other rivers and streams from 15th September to 1st November.
