The café has great coffee and wonderful cakes and is open every day except Mondays.
Hønse-Lovisas hus (Hen-Lovisas house) is a great place to stop on a walk along the river Akerselva. The name comes from a literary character, and the house was built in 1800 as a sawmiller's house.

Hønse-Lovisas hus is a cultural meeting place, where the arts and crafts of today meet tradition and history of the past. They also have arts and crafts for sale here.
