DogA, the Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture, was established by Norsk Form and the Norwegian Design Council in 2004, as a meeting place for design, architecture and related subject areas.

The two organisations are housed in an old transformer station, and was awarded the National Building Prize in 2006.

The centre also provides an arena for large and small architecture and design exhibitions, conferences and meetings, as well as a shop and café.

DogAs premises consist of three main areas:

The hall is a fantastic space with unique architectural details and 8 meters to the ceiling. Capacity of 375 seated in rows, 250 seated at tables and up to 600 standing/mingling.

The mezzanine, located with views of the hall, offer a conference room with a connected bar/mingling area. Capacity of 130.

The atrium is an open space with double ceiling height and an amphitheatre staircase in one end. Capacity of 180 seated at tables and up to 250 standing/mingling.

Guided tours every Sunday at 2 pm except in July.

Closed on all public holidays: Easter (Thurs-Mon), 1 May, 17 May, Ascension Day, Whitsun, 24 December-1 January.
