The Oslo Philharmonic

The Oslo Philharmonic was founded in 1919 and is today Norway's national orchestra. The orchestra plays most of its concerts in Oslo Concert Hall, but also tours regularly.

Led by their new chief conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste, the orchestra has made successful tours around Europe. The orchestra concists of over 100 musicians, both Norwegian and international.

Tours for school classes:
School groups, music kindergardens and children's orchestra can have a guided tour in Oslo Concert House where they also get to hear the Oslo Philharmonic rehearse. The tour is adapted for the age group, and is free. Get more informastion by contacting the Oslo Philharmonic.
