Kunstverket is a privately owned gallery, established in 1989. The gallery is composed of three individual departments: the Gallery, the Art-In-Architecture Department, and the department of Print Publication. The gallery is located in a Arne Korsmo-designed building with 150 square meters of exhibition space.
The vision of the gallery is to breathe new life into the city of Oslo's awareness of contemporary art. Kunstverket aims to accomplish this through a combination of individual and group exhibitions, projects and "happenings", ans is proud to present cutting-edge works by both recognized artists and new, up-and-coming talents.
Open Monday-Wednesday 9 am-4 pm for pre-arranged visits.
Open on Sundays during exhibitions only.
Closed during Christmas and in July.
