Amundsen & Nobile is an original and genuine "trattoria italiana" in Oslo. The restaurant is named after the explorers Roald Amundsen and Umberto Nobile, who went to the North Pole together in 1926.
Making the "trattoria italiana" feeling even more genuine, the owners and chefs are Italian, and the whole staff speaks Italian fluently. The South Italian dishes are mainly from the Napoli and Puglia region, and the wine list is carefully selected to ensure good value for money. They take their time here in order to prepare the food properly, so don't come if you're in a hurry. Your meal will be accompanied by Italian music, sometimes live - performed by the owner himself.
