Grünerløkka lufthavn (="Grünerløkka airport") is a non-commercial culture organisation which is housed in an old school building in Toftes gate at Grünerløkka. MIR is often quite crowded, yet it seems like there's always a place for you.

Café MIR is hidden in the backyard and therefore best known among the locals. MIR used to have many old airplane seats - these have become fewer over the years, but the place still has plenty of alternative "Grünerløkka charm".

The stage hosts concerts in every genre, and alternative music and local musicians often play here. MIR also has a free foosball table in the basement.

The building also houses rehearsal rooms, studios for artists, film and music, workshops, a gallery and much more...
