Armed Forces Museum

The Armed Forces Museum shows Norwegian military history from Viking times until the 20th century through unique objects, models and dioramas.

Important themes include the union with Denmark until 1814, the union with Sweden until 1905, the German attack on Norway on 9 April 1940 and the sea battles during World War II.

Café with cold dishes, cakes and coffee. Museum shop.

CLOSED: Easter, Whit Saturday, Whit Sunday, 24 December-1 January.
