Probably Oslo’s most popular place for tobogganing, with sled rental. Go at full speed from Voksenkollen to Midtstuen, then use the subway to get back up to the top.

“Akebakken” in Grefsenkollen
Long and popular place for sledding. Start at Grefsenkollen Restaurant and sled down a lit trail. It takes about 15 minutes and is fun for all ages.

Damefallene at Tåsen
Popular and long.
Transport: Bus 25 from Majorstua to Kongleveien.
Skullerudstua in Østmarka
Next to the Skullerudstua cabin (in the forest). Popular with local families.
Transport: Subway line no. 3 to Skullerud, then about 10 minutes walking.
Ekeberg
In the forest below Ekeberg sports hall (Ekeberghallen) you can combine sledding with a view over the city.

Tøyenparken
Steep hill below Tøyenbadet (Tøyen public bath) – across the street from the Munch Museum.

St. Hanshaugen
This park is a big hill, and you can go sledding from top to bottom.
Transport: Bus 37 to Colletts gate, then walk to the top of the hill.
Myraløkka
Family-friendly sledding at Sagene, next to the Akerselva river.

Uranienborgparken
Short hill appropriate for the smallest children.

Frognerparken

Behind the Royal Palace (between the palace and Parkveien) you can take the smallest kids sledding.

Liabakken
Next to Stovner Senter you find Lia Skisenter (ski centre). They have a great flood-lit hill for sleddig. There is also a cabin with coffee and snacks.
