The indoor shopping at Paleet is closed for renovations until the spring of 2014, but the shops facing Karl Johans gate are open.

Paleet is a high-end shopping centre with over 30 specialist and fashion shops, as well as a number of restaurants and cafés. The interior displays a vast array of art, including a painting of Karl Johans gate by world-renowned painter Edvard Munch.
