Fetsund Lenser's lumber museum shows the unique timber floating plant on the river Glomma. There is also a nature information center, a well-stocked shop and a café where you can sample local delicacies.
The timber floating plant is the only one of its kind in Norway. It opened in 1861, closed in 1985 and reopened as a museum in 1990.
At the lumber museum you can try marking lumber with a special marking axe or towing lumber in the river. The museum is open in the summer season (May-September).
The nature information centre has a permanent nature exhibition, temporary art exhibitions and a café where with seting both inside and outside. The nature center is open on Sundays all year.
