Gamle Raadhus Restaurant is a historic restaurant in the city's first city hall from 1641, located next to Akershus fortress.

The classic kitchen focuses on Norwegian ingredients and specialities, and is well-known for its lutefisk, cod and other excellent fish and game dishes. The wine list offers an abundance of high-quality wines in all price categories.

Lauritz Ruus bar serves lunch between 11.30 am and 3 pm, and from 4 pm it is perfect for a pre-dinner drink.

Raadhusgaarden in the restaurant's back yard is open in summer for both lunch and dinner. Small dishes and a comprehensive food menu is served from 5 pm.

Chambre séparée: Christian IV's room (capacity 8-16 persons) and Vinkjelleren (capacity 10-18 persons). The Theatre Museum's elegant column hall (capacity 70 persons) can also be used for business meetings or conferences.

Gamle Raadhus is closed for summer holidays in July.
