The Norwegian Maritime Museum

The Norwegian Maritime Museum
The Norwegian Maritime Museum is beautifully located on the waterfront at Bygdøynes. Here you will find exciting exhibitions on maritime life and coast culture. The panorama film “Maritime Norway” is shown every hour. The exhibition “Norwegian Maritime Art” includes about 40 works by Norwegian painters. In the Maritime Package the panorama film “Maritime Norway” (Ivo Caprino) is used for a self-guided programme for school groups. The film lasts for 20 minutes, and it is up to the school to decide how much time it wants to spend working after the film.

Welcome to maritime history and coast culture at the Norwegian Maritime Museum!
