Richie will perform in Oslo Spektrum on 12 October. Tickets go on sale Monday 12 March.
Lionel Richie started his illustrious career with The Commodores in 1968, and the Motown group enjoyed great success with songs like "Three Times a Lady" and "Easy". In 1982 Richie began his solo career with a self-titled album. The hits kept coming, and "Truly," "All Night Long," "Hello," "Say You, Say Me" and "Dancing on the Ceiling" made Richie one of the world's best-selling artists in the eighties.
Richie still has lots of fans all over the world, and this year he marks 30 years as a solo artist with his tenth album, "Tuskegee", inspired by his time growing up in Tuskegee, Alabama. The album includes new versions of his biggest hits and collaborations with country stars like Shania Twain, Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers.
