Oslo Visitor Centre opens by Central Station

Oslo Tourist Information moved from City Hall to Oslo Central Station in October. The new visitor centre is open 365 days a year, and the staff speaks many different languages.

Oslo Visitor Centre is located in Østbanehallen, which is being renovated and will open with the name Ø in the winter of 2015. When the rest of Ø opens, the visitor centre will be accessible from inside the hall. But until then the only entrance is from Jernbanetorget at the front of the building.

Although the premises are new, Oslo Visitor Centre offers the same great services as the old Tourist Information, such as:
- Free Oslo Guide brochures in six languages
- Free maps of the city
- Oslo Pass
- Ruter tickets
- NSB train tickets
- Airport Express Train tickets
- Norway in a Nutshell Tour tickets
- Currency exchange (including travelers checks)

The opening hours in winter are Monday-Sunday 9 am-4 pm.
