Travel conditions for school trips

VisitOSLO as (VO) is responsible for ensuring that:
- We will organise the trip after your needs as best as we can.
- You receive the necessary travel documents.
- You are informed of any changes concerning your reservations.
- The supplier(s) receive(s) payment for the services you have purchased.
- Only VO will have contact with the supplier(s), if nothing else is expressly arranged.

When does the order become confirmed?
The booking in writing becomes firm when it is confirmed in writing by VO. These conditions take effect when you receive a confirmation in writing from VO no matter whether you have paid in full, in part or not at all.

Conditions for ordering:
- For daytrips: Booking must occur within one month prior to arrival.
- For several day trips/packages: Ordering must occur within two months prior to arrival.

When do I pay?
- A deposit of 10 % of the total price will be charged within 14 days after an accepted booking.
- The balance will be charged within 14 days prior to arrival.

What happens if I do not pay in time?
VO may cancel your booking and demand payment to cover cancellation cost in accordance with the conditions stipulated below. Otherwise you will be expected to pay compensation to the VO for all expenses imposed on them by other supplier and so forth.

What are the conditions if I wish any changes?
Changes can be done free of charge within one month prior to arrival. After one month the conditions of cancellation will be valid.

What are the conditions if I wish to cancel?
You can make a cancellation in writing to VO.

Cancellation of 5 persons or more, alternatively the whole group:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival will be charged with an administration fee of NOK 100,- per person.
- Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival: Refund of 50 % of the total amount.
- Cancellations made later than 15 days: No refund.

Cancellation of individuals:
- Cancellations made more than 21 days prior to arrival will be charged with an administration fee of NOK 100,- per person.
- Cancellations made between 21 and 4 days prior to arrival: Refund of 50 % of the total amount.
- Cancellations made later than 4 days: No refund.

What if something goes wrong?
If all or part of the travel package cannot be supplied according to the travel documents you received, and if no similar alternative (for example you get offered another accommodation in the same class and area), you are entitled to make a cancellation. VO will refund what you have paid, making reductions for any part of the arrangement which you have already used or will be using. Should something go wrong after your arrival, it is vital to sort this out on the spot (e.g. at the hotel/museum).

What happens if we do not agree?
If we are unable to come to some agreement, you may apply to the Complaints Office for Charter Tours, Brugt. 1, 0186 Oslo, Norway, within four weeks after VO have given its final response in the matter.

Changes or errors in the publications
All information is given with reservation for changes which may occur after the brochure has been printed. This also concerns the information on our website. We also reserve the right for possible printing errors.
