For the first time VisitOSLO hosts Travel Tech Day, as a part of Oslo Innovation Week.

We have put together an interesting line-up of speakers to shed light on the importance of innovation and technology within the travel industry.

Daniel Ord Rasmussen

Daniel Ord Rasmussen is the senior analyst at Seismonaut in Denmark, a consultancy specialising in business development in the tourism sector, especially within the field of digitisation. He has previously worked with organisations ranging from tiny campsites and B&Bs up to larger ones such as Airbnb, the Rezidor Hotel Group and VisitDenmark.

His primary areas of expertise are digital strategy, social media platform analyses and digital marketing.

Today, he is Destination Think!'s Client Strategist in Amsterdam, where he specializes in design thinking and service design, bringing innovation to destination marketing.

Think! works with the most innovative tourism boards in the world to create a vision for their destinations, solve business challenges and execute brilliant, integrated campaigns with conversations at the core.

Joakim Jardenberg

Joakim Jardenberg is a senior advisor in all things internet and media. He is currently on a two-year assignment as Head of Internet for the City of Helsingborg, Sweden. His assignment is to make sure that the city uses the internet to be the best city possible.

Joakim Jardenberg was number four when Huffington Post picked "The Most Influential Tech CEOs On Twitter", and is also known as an influential investor in tech startups. 

He is a writer, lecturer, internet evangelist and inspirator, and believes in the powers of online to democratize our world.

Anna Kirah is an internationally renowned design anthropologist and psychologist. She has worked for corporations such as Boeing and Microsoft, and is now Chief Experience Officer at Making Waves.

Anna Kirah believes in creating meaningful, relevant and strategic design solutions through understanding people's motivations and expectations. An important by-product of her methods is change in the organization in terms of better use of collaboration as a tool, together with more motivated and committed employees.

She is also on the board of Design Without Borders, which applies strategic service design to solving challenges in developing countries.

Göran Adlén is a trend analyst and a popular speaker at conferences. In 2014 he was named "Speaker of the year" in Sweden. Since 2002 he has published annual trend reports and four books. His first book was Framtiden är inte vad den brukade vara - "The future isn't what it used to be". 

Göran Adlén has worked many years in advertising, and has taught at some of Sweden's most prestigious business schools. Besides giving lectures he works as a consultant.

Simen Vinge studied at the Norwegian School of Hotel Management and at London Business School, and has been Marketing Director for Comfort Hotels and Director at the Comfort Hotel Xpress. Today he is Director of Operations at Comfort Xpress.

Simen Vinge became Norway's youngest hotel director when he opened Comfort Hotel Xpress in 2011, 24 years old. In 2012 he was named young manager of the year at the Norwegian HSMAI Awards.

Cathrine Pia Lund has held leadership positions in marketing, branding and communications, including Marketing Director of the airline Braathens, Marketing Director of SAS Norway, and most recently as Marketing and Communications Director of the Opera. In June this year she joined Innovation Norway as leader for Division Brand Norway. 

Lund was pivotal in the creation and building of the Opera brand and the development of the value platform at SAS. In her new role she will build and revitalize Innovation Norway's mandate to promote Norwegian industry abroad, Norway as a tourist destination and increase Norway's attractiveness as an investment and establishment option for international companies.
