Oslo offers a great variety of theatre, opera, folk dance, concerts and music throughout the year. The city is host to a number of annual festivals of: theatre, chamber music, jazz, rock, contemporary music and much more.

Arenas like Valle Hovin (capacity of 40 000 people) and Oslo Spektrum (10 000 people) host world famous artists like Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Oslo Concert Hall is the home of the famous Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition to several large stages for concerts, shows and theatre, Oslo also has a variety of smaller scenes where you can experience everything from stand-up comedy to ballet and modern dance.
