The Stone Roses, Bon Iver and Björk have already been confirmed for the festival in Oslo's Medieval Park. Day tickets and festival passes are on sale now at billettservice.no.

The Stone Roses recently announced that they are reuniting after 15 years apart, and Øya has already has managed to book the popular band for Wednesday 8 August.

Bon Iver has had a fantastic 2011, with critical acclaim, Grammy nominations and commercial success. Next chance to see them in Norway will be at the Øya Festival on Saturday 11 August.

Icelandic superstar Björk is only doing a few festivals in 2012, and Øya is one of them. Her fans can see her in on stage in Oslo on Thursday 9 August.

Tickets for the Øya Festival usually sell out, and the quality of the first bookings indicate that this year will be no different. Festival passes are on special offer now before Christmas: NOK 2045 + a ticket fee.
