The 19-time English champions will play Vålerenga at Ullevaal Stadium on Sunday 5 August. Tickets for the general public go on sale on Wednesday 23 May at 10 am.

The game will take place just 13 days before the start of the Premier League, making it an important part of United's preparations for the 2012/13 season. Therefore, chances are good that stars like Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernández, Ryan Giggs, Nemanja Vidic, Nani, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia will feature in Oslo.

Manchester United's first team has not played a match in Norway since 2002, when they also met Vålerenga at Ullevaal.

Vålerenga season ticket holders can buy tickets (max. 6 each) from 21 May at 10 am in Sjappa at Oslo Central Station.

Manchester United Supporters Club Scandinavian Branch members can buy tickets from 22 May at 10 am. More information at united.no.
