On 21 April 2013 the inhabitants of Oslo were invited to be tourists in their own city for free.
20,000 people participated, and the weather could hardly have been more perfect. Hope you all had a wonderful day!
Tourist in your own city is an annual event hosted by the City of Oslo and VisitOSLO together with Ruter, the museums and attractions of Oslo and Oslo2022. The purpose of the event is for the Osloites to get better acquainted with the city's museums and attractions, as well as familiarizing yourselves with the Oslo Pass and the public transport system. We hope in this way to make you enthusiastic ambassadors for Oslo and knowledgeable hosts for visitors.
The Oslo Pass is Oslo's official city card, which includes free entrance to museums and attractions, free public transport and much more.
