Winter Walks
Oslo Guidebureau offers guided walking tours in the city in the winter season, with a different route and theme for each day of the week. The tours are conducted in Norwegian and English. The Winter Walks start after New Year's and run every day until Easter.
Tickets can be bought directly from the guide, or at the Tourist Information Centres in Oslo.
The Winter Walks are free with the Oslo Pass.
WINTER WALKS 2 Jan - 4 Apr 2010:
Monday: Guided tour by 'Mrs Amalie Sofie', a lady of the 19th century
Tuesday: City Hall and the fortress of Akershus
Wednesday: Alfred Nobel, King, Obama and the coolest bar in Oslo
Thursday: Munch, Ibsen and the Old City Hall
Friday: Grünerløkka - Oslo's Notting Hill
Saturday: The Vigeland Museum and Vigeland Sculpture Park
Sunday: Along the river Akerselva
Tours may be subject to change at short notice, and require comfortable walking shoes and warm clothes. All walking at own risk, sidewalks may be slippery.
