Mobile photograpy fun in Oslo with SeeMyOslo! SeeMyCity is coming to Oslo with the Instragram competition #SeeMyOslo and a photography day with presentations and a guided Instragram excursion with great photographers.
Until 19 August, you can join the photo competition #SeeMyOslo on Instagram. The best pictures from Oslo will win great prizes!
On Saturday 25 August, SeeMyCity is hosting a mobile photography day at DogA with the following programme:
12.00: Welcome and presentations
Marianne Hope, founder and manager of SeeMyCity, will tealk about the project and provide tips on photographing a city in a creative and interesting way.
Herbert Schroer will talk about his photographic journeys.
Solveig Lae and Stig Jøssund will show pictures and tell about their experiences with Instagram, and how they have learned to see Oslo with new eyes using their mobile phones.
The best Oslo photographs from the SeeMyOslo photographers will be exhibited at DogA from 25 August until 4 September.
14.30: Raffles and award ceremony for the winners of the #SeeMyOslo Instragram competition
15.00: Mobile photographic treasure hunt in the streets of Oslo for all participants, who will go in groups led by the SeeMyOslo photographers. The photos taken during this photo walk can be entered into a photo competition on Instagram with fun prizes.
