Bicycling in Oslo: The Bathing Spot Nordstrand bad

The Bathing Spot:

Facilities: toilets, 100-metre stone pier

This is the shortest and easiest cycling route to a fine bathing area from the city centre. Nordstrand bad is in a well-sheltered location that cannot be seen from the road. Poor car-park conditions mean that it never is overcrowded here.
Follow the pavement/cycle route south along Mosseveien. Roughly 500 metres after Ulvøybrua, look for a side road that curves sharply to the right before you reach Furubråtveien.
