Gustav Vigeland's apartment

The Vigeland Museum was built by the City of Oslo as both studio and home for Gustav Vigeland in the 1920s. The apartment, where Vigeland lived from 1924 until he died in 1943, is situated at the 2nd floor of the museum. It has been restored, and appears today as it did at Vigeland's time. Vigeland has designed most of the interior of the apartment, among other things wrought iron candlesticks, lamps and textiles.

Open by appointment. Contact the museum for more information.
