“Friendly central Oslo Hostel, much cheaper than a hotel, recommended”

“Hostel was good, but the breakfast served in the restaurant was terrible! The bread has something green on it, and they didn't have fresh bread. ”

“We stayed only one in night in anker hostel. We have booked a doble room with bathroom But they give us a large room with eight single beds. Fortunaltely we stayed alone but the room was very dirty. We found a bottle of beer inside a bed and the bathroom also showed that no one have done the cleaning before our arrive. The problem is that we payed 600 nok for one night( bedlinen not included) and with 100 nok more you can stay in a better and cleaned accomodation in Oslo.i dont suggest anker hostel!”

“Det er hyggeligt at der er så meget liv i hallen og udenfor. Placeringen er dejlig central i byen. Personalet er meget imødekommende og afslappet. Det ville være godt med cykelparkering og kort over cykelstier i byen”

“I think it is a pity that we have to hire pans or plates at each dinner or lunch. It is not really pratical. The shower is not really great. After your shower all the floor of the bathroom is wet so if somebody comes just after you his socks are wet or he dirties the floor with his shoes. Other wise the localisation is quiet good and the beds are fine. It is really nice to have free internet and it was a pleasur to have a giant screen to watch the olympics games ! ”

“The Hostel Anker is nothing special (neather extremely cheap), but gives you a central, clean location. People at the reception are very kind and happy to help with any kind of information you need. Make sure you don't get a room inside the stairway, next to the elevator - you won't sleep since you hear every person who is moving on the seven floors there are.”

“It is cheap, you only have to pay the all: breakfast, linen, towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryers, etc.. All this will be charged separately, and then at the end of it is more expensive than a four star hotel. Then the Internet is just an illusion: it does not work at all.”
