Oslo für Schwule und Lesben
Oslo bietet Nachtleben, Restaurants, schöne Natur und ein abwechslungsreiches Kulturangebot sowie eine gastfreundliche Schwulen- und Lesbenszene. Menschen in Norwegen haben generell eine liberale Haltung gegenüber Homosexuellen. Im Öffentlichen Leben gibt es viele homosexuelle Persönlichkeiten, wie zum Beispiel in der Unterhaltungsbranche, Sport, Politik und Wirtschaft. Der frühere norwegische Finanzminister und Oslos frühere Stadtratsvorsitzender sind beide offenkundig schwul.
Nachtleben
Homosexuelle Paare können frei zwischen verschiedenen Restaurants und Clubs wählen und müssen nicht unbedingt spezielle Schwulen- und Lesbenbars besuchen. Es gibt aber natürlich Bars und Pubs, wo die Wahrscheinlichkeit, andere Schwule und Lesben zu treffen, gröβer ist, z.B. in Oslos Zentrum. Die Schwulen- und Lesbenszene in Oslo ist in sich weniger unterteilt, als es in anderen Städten der Fall ist. Lesben und Schwule besuchen die gleichen Orte und die Altersunterschiede variieren stark. Zusätzlich zu den reinen Schwulen- und Lesbenbars London und Elsker, gibt es andere Orte mit homosexuellen Stammgästen, z.B. Ett Glass und Bobs Pub.
