“Rommet var slitt interiørmessig; teppe (m/flekker) på rom er negativt, knuste fliser på bad, gummi-list rundt badekar var svart av sopp??, kun kaldt vann i dusjen, termostatkran i dusjen falt av, dårlig lukt på rom. Seng meget god - så toss alt sov veldig godt”

“When we arrived in Oslo we were delighted to find a room in the centrally located hotel with parking below . The room was quiet for a city centre establishment and the beds comfortable. However the condition of the room left something to be desired and we had to ask for a few basic items - tea bags etc - and the bathroom had not been cleaned to a standard one would expect. The shower was the poorest flow we found anywhere during our 6 week Norwegian tour - including in campsites! These disappointing standards are a shame because in every other respect the Clarion was exactly what we wanted, the staff were generally helpful and the breakfast buffet deserved the accolades which have been given by many other guests. So, please pay more attention to the house staff, they have let you down, for the Clarion would then be a highly recommended place to stay whilst in Oslo without reservation.”

“God løsning med stort lekrom rett ved sittegrupper og frokostsal, så nært Oslo S som praktisk mulig. Største minus er at vindu inn mot atriumet ikke kan åpnes. Største plusset er at resepsjonen er superhyggelig og ekstra oppmerksom mot barn. Spesielt Marthe (med h)”

“The Clarion has great potential but the service was just o.k. We found it difficult to find things out as there is not much literature in English. Everything was under construction-the pool, the gym, the Turkish/Finnish baths, the second bar, the second restaurant so there was no use of these facilities. I had chosen this hotel based on the amenities so I was disappointed. The breakfast was great though and the hotel was beautiful.”
