Fonnafly Oslo: Sightseeing by seaplane

OSLO ON TOP
Departing from Oslo by seaplane we ascend over the beautiful and picturesque Oslo fjord. An exiting and unique experience. From the air, view the magnificent landscape that surrounds Oslo. Fly over the spectacular Holmenkollen ski jump, the city and then on to the harbour. Enjoy excellent views and the opportunity to get photographs of beautiful areas like Frognerparken, the Royal Palace, Karl Johans gate and Aker Brygge harbour from a completely new persepective. This is a unique opportunity to see all of Oslo, its beautiful nature and main attractions during your visit.

THE CITY AND THE OSLO FJORD
We depart from Oslo and fly out over the beautiful Oslofjord with its maze of islands and skerries, and head for the idyllic village of Drøbak. We pass the place were the German battleship Blücher was sunk April 9th 1940. The ship was sunk by a torpedo from the fortress Oscarsborg, which we fly over. With its fantastic underwater barrier, Oscarsborg is a landmark in the seaward approach to Oslo, and the view from the plane is quite unique. We then go up the inner Oslofjord, with views to the hills and mountains that form the landscape that surrounds Oslo.
Holmenkollen, with its famous ski jump tower marks the turning point, as we head back to central Oslo. There are plenty of opportunities to take in the view and take pictures of areas like the Vigeland Sculpture Park, The Royal Palace, and the main street Karl Johan from quite a different angle. This tour most certainly gives you the overview, and you will enjoy your stroll in Oslo even more after this.

GLACIERS, FALLS, FJORDS AND MOUNTAINS
Everything norwegian nature has to offer. We depart from Oslo and fly overr Norefjell mountain, along the magnificent Hallingskarvet and over glaciers on Hardangerjøkulen. We circle over Vøringsfossen, Norways highest falls! Here you can take beautiful photos of nature at its best. Then we head over the Hardanger fjord where the mountains are more than 1500 meters high and the fjord opens up below us. After 1 hour and 25 minutes flight. We land in the Hardanger fjord by the renowned old Hotel Ullensvang. Here you can take photographs, buy souvenirs or have something nice to drink on the hotel's terrace. On our way back to Oslo we fly over the Hardanger fjord, one of Norway's most famous fjords. We fly across Folgefonna - one of Norways largest glaciers (214 square km.), before crossing all of the Hardangervidda, Europes highest mountain plateu, on our way back to Oslo. Here there are possibilities to see reindeer. The trip back to Oslo takes about 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Cancellations are rare, but can occur due to bad weather. In case of cancellation, all expenses will be refunded where the ticket was purchased, or at Fonnafly.
