Thon Hotel Oslo Panorama

“I fohold til sen bestilling (cup fotball) fikk vi ett hotell i et støk vi var usikre på. Gledelig overasket på alle punkt. Kommer tilbake.”

“1. Bathroom hat to few places to put assecories on like toothbrush shampoos etc. Some shelfs (in swedish HYLLOR) should be put up on the walls in the bathroom. We had to put nearly all of our things on the floor instead! No toothbrush glasses could be found in the bathroom! 2. Our son slept in extra bed in entrance room. The room had no windowshade (in swedish RULLGARDIN) -so it became quite light there in the morning. 3. The title PANORAMA of your Hotel is somewhat misleading. We had room 707 on floor 7 but we could find absolutely no panorama anywhere from our room - only fan-machines making noise opposite our room. ”

“We enjoyed very much our stay in Oslo. The Thon Panorama Hotel was superb offering all you need for a pleasant stay in such a wonderful city and very close to all the main points of interest. We arrived on a weekend when the hotel was fully booked, however the staff was utterly efficient and most attentive to all of our needs and requests. I will definitely stay at the Thon Panorama if I visit Oslo again.”

“An excellent hotel for an overnight stay. Liked the minimalist decor which was functional. We were surprised to find a kitchen but without any crockery or cutlery or utensils for using the facilties provided . We arrived late in the evening and would have enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee with our snack we had brought with us. In the morning we discovered there was a little cafe bar in the foyer which we could have used but we were not advised of this. The breakfast was really first class with plenty of choice for all tastes.Everything was clean and tidy and well set out and the staff were very helpful. The proximity to the main station was a major attraction for us as we arrived by train and departed by plane so it was easy to catch the express train to Oslo airport, and to walk to the hotel on our arrival. Also ideal to walk to the waterfront and the palace and main shopping areas. WE THOUGHT IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS WE HAVE STAYED IN AROUND THE WORLD as we are frequent travellers. Would highly recommend it as good value for money. ”
