I personally recommend a short walk through the woods from Sjømannsskole to Ekebergsletta/Ekeberg Camping.I took tram 19 (towards Ljabru) and got off at Sjømannsskolen.Right over the street you have the school building itself with frescos by Per Krogh. Down by the parking lot you can see “Helleristninger” (stone drawings from the Stone Age).To start the walk to the “Scream” panorama, where Edvard Munch got the inspiration for his famous painting, cross the tram line and walk up to Ekeberg Restaurant.Follow the path that starts from the left side of the entrance to the restaurant. After about 15-20 min.the path will lead up to Valhallveien.Follow the street upwards.Edvard Munch used this point of view for his famous painting, the inspiration came while he was taking a walk with some friends. See also the small iron sign at the beginning of the street. You can continue to the Ekebergsletta, and take the bus back to the center.I really enjoyed this walk and I highly recommend to try it!
