You can start with a visit to EKT Rideskole which is a farm. The easiest way to get there is by bus or tram. The easiest way to get back to the centre is to walk. The farm is located on the Ekeberg hill on the Eastside of the Oslofjord. That means that you have to descend from this hill and that gives you an excellent view over the city if you choose Kongsveien (the King’s Road). If you feel the need for some food you can stop at Ekebergrestauranten on your way down. Close to the restaurant there are some drawings made in stone/mountain which are more than 4000 years old. From Ekebergrestauranten there is a trail which goes down to Gamlebyen, a quiet residence area which used to be the Viking centre of the city. At Ekeberg, close to the farm, you can also find the famous spot "Utsikten" where Edward Munch got inspired on one of his walks and made him paint "The Scream". This is a nice trip to do on a bike!
