Public transport in Oslo is anything but cheap. But the Oslo Dagskort (Oslo daily pass) is a good way to get around - convenient and cheap. For 2009, it cost NOK 65. Considering a one-way trip is NOK 25 for an adult, this is a steal. Especially, if you plan to visit a lot of places but do not have the museums in your agenda (like me). It is valid for 24 hours from the time of stamping and can be used on all local transport, except for night services. It is available in tourist offices and other stores as well, just like the Oslo pass.
