The Øya Festival for me is where i can get the real festival atmosphere in oslo. I am a big fan of the roskilde festival in denmark, and out of the Oslo festivals, Øya is the one that gives some of the same feeling. there's no festival camping though, but I live in Oslo so it doesn't matter. i can buy a ticket long before the program is announced, because i know it will be good either way. there are always some big headliners, but it's also fun to go see some of the less known bands and discover that they don't deserve to be unknown. the photos are from the bob hund concert at Øya 2009.
