In some of my other texts I have written about the forest surrounding Oslo and things to do there like fishing. To fish in Oslo you need to have a fish permit. This fish permit gives you the opportunity to fish in 350 lakes in the area. You can buy the fish permit at a store called Stram Line which is located 20 metres from the tourist information office in Oslo - the one nearby the train station. It costs NOK 100,- for two days, but its possible to buy a season card for NOK 400,-. You can also buy the fish permit from mashines (located nearby the biggest lakes) or on the internet http://www.ofa.no/page?id=153 If you are caught fishing without a fishing card you have to pay a fine...
