Like in the rest of the world, the coffee traditions in Oslo have changed tremendously over the last years. Where coffee was something you drank at home or in the office, and words like "espresso", "caffe latte" and "barista" were known only by experienced travellers, they are now part of the everyday vocabulary of most Norwegians.
